To make the 150th Birthday celebration extra special, several committees have been formed:  the Ashland Yearbook, the Hall of Fame and the Oral History Project. 

In addition, look for "Did You Know" tidbits - interesting and unusual facts about Ashland and her people in the Herald Progress and on this birthday website.

Reserve your yearbook at the Early Bird price of $55.00.  After publication, the price increases!    DOWNLOAD THE ORDER FORM HERE.

Checks may be made payable to "Ashland Yearbook" and mailed to Susan Tucker at 718 S Center St, Ashland VA  23005.

Nominations for Hall of Fame are now closed.  The Hall of Fame winners will be unveiled at the Grand Celebration on October 18, 2008.

 

oral history project     "One Ashland-Many Voices"

The goal of the Oral History project is to tape citizens telling stories at the Ashland Library.  The CD will be available for purchase in the future.  If you would like to help with this special project, please contact Dale Talley at 550-1777 or dptalley@comcast.net.
